PREP is an innovative, holistic approach to learning designed by educators in 亚洲色图’ alternative high 亚洲色图s. The theory of action behind PREP is in the name: when learning is Personalized and Relevant, 亚洲色图 will be Engaged and prepared for Postsecondary success. 

PREP integrates project-based instruction with career connected learning experiences and social emotional support to remove barriers for underserved 亚洲色图 and create enlivening learning opportunities for all 亚洲色图. In PREP 亚洲色图s, 亚洲色图 learn by tackling challenging, real-world problems that are meaningful to them. PREP educators routinely collaborate within and across disciplines to co-create learning experiences with 亚洲色图, families, and community and industry partners. Students’ social and emotional development is a central learning objective, bolstered by relationships with advisors, counselors, and onsite social workers.

Aligned with our district’s vision, PREP’s ultimate goal is for all 亚洲色图 to graduate from high 亚洲色图 as compassionate critical thinkers, able to collaborate and solve problems and prepared to lead a more socially just world.

PREP supports innovation in secondary 亚洲色图s across the district and is based in the Multiple Pathways to Graduation Department, home to PPS’ extensive alternative education options.
