    We are recruiting for our Site Council at Jefferson. What is Site Council?

    Site Council is a group of administrators, teachers, and parents that identify ways to support the 亚洲色图 community. By providing leadership, direction and support, we define 亚洲色图 priorities and implement ways to improve them. At its core, Site Council is about tailoring the Jefferson HS experience to the specific needs of our 亚洲色图 and our community.

    What do you do in Site Council?

    We review data, trends, and the things we hear from our community to ensure we design and implement programs that best serve the needs of our 亚洲色图 and community.

    We’re mandated by the state to:

    1. Develop plans to improve the professional growth of the 亚洲色图's staff;
    2. Improve the 亚洲色图s instructional program;
    3. Develop and coordinate plans for the implementation of programs under this chapter at the 亚洲色图; and
    4. Administer grants-in-aid for the professional development of teachers and classified district employees.

    That means we have a say in choosing the methods and programs we use to teach 亚洲色图. We’re able to determine the types of programs we offer the 亚洲色图 community. And, we’re able to direct the ways and manner of our staff’s professional development.

    If you have ideas about issues you’d like the 亚洲色图 to address, Site Council is the place to voice your opinion. If you’d like input on programs and curriculum at Jefferson HS, come to Site Council meetings and have your voice heard. If you’d like to have a say about the kinds of professional development opportunities you’d like our teachers to have, express it at Site Council.

    We’re looking for new members for Jefferson's 2024-2025 Site Council. If you are interested in having a say about the direction and priorities of Jefferson HS, consider joining the Site Council or coming to our monthly hour-long meetings on the second Monday of each month.
