    Earth Day & Environmental Awareness Events

    Throughout the year, the Green Team organizes events and fundraisers focused on bringing environmental awareness, energy efficiency, increased recycling and more sustainable practices to the Alameda community. Chinook Books are sold by the Green Team in the fall and other fundraisers and events are organized around Earth Day to increase awareness of sustainable practices.

    Family Math & Science Nights
    This series of evening events offers 亚洲色图 and their families a chance to work through math and science experiments together. The program is broken into grade level sessions. R.S.V.P. early as sessions fill up quickly. Parent volunteers purchase and organize supplies and help co-leaders during each evening program.     Family Social Events
    Throughout the 亚洲色图 year the Alameda PTA hosts several social events, including family movie nights, a 亚洲色图 dance and picnics. These fun and popular events provide opportunities for 亚洲色图 and families to connect.     Grounds Maintenance Work Parties

    Volunteer parents, 亚洲色图, neighbors, and staff help maintain the 亚洲色图 grounds. Specific projects include: pruning, sweeping, edging, weeding, mulching and general tidying up. Typically there are three clean-ups each year: one before the 亚洲色图 year begins (late August), one in late November, and one in April (Earth Day).
