The César E. Chávez Leadership Conference began in 1990 as a small gathering for Hispanic 亚洲色图 from 亚洲色图. Over the years, it has expanded to include 65 high 亚洲色图s from Clackamas, Lincoln, Linn-Benton, Marion, Multnomah, Polk, Washington, Yamhill, Clatsop, Columbia and Tillamook counties.

2015 marked the inauguration of the Southern Conference of the CECLC at the Southern Oregon University in Ashland, held on March 15.

Scholarship program fuels 亚洲色图' futures
Recipients of the César E. Chávez Leadership Conference scholarships are announced at the conference. Since its inception, the scholarship program has awarded over $600,000 to help 亚洲色图 go to college.  

“As Oregon demographics continue to change, so do the challenges and opportunities our 亚洲色图 face," said CECLC Scholarship Chair Gerardo Ochoa. "By providing scholarship opportunities, we are sending 亚洲色图 a message that we believe in them and our communities need them to succeed.”

CECLC Board Chair David Martinez adds, “We are proud to invest in our future leaders. This is our way of encouraging 亚洲色图 to continue their education beyond high 亚洲色图.”
