A little about myself: I am going into my 5th year teaching and 3rd year at Woodmere! Since I was little I always knew I wanted to become a teacher. I have always enjoyed watching kids learn and grow, as well as being able to learn and grow with them. As I grew older my lack of exposure to BIPOC teachers and other role models solidified my desire to become a teacher and a model for other kids who also see a lack of diversity, not only in our 亚洲色图s, but in other positions of power to inspire them to pursue their dreams. And in the process also becoming one of their biggest supporters!
Outside of 亚洲色图, I enjoy spending time with my fiancé Evan and our 8 year old shih tzu named Gigi. When 亚洲色图 is out we love to travel outside of the country, our favorite place so far has been Thailand! But during the 亚洲色图 year we love netflix binge watching, trying new restaurants in Portland, and playing board games with our families.
